What to Expect from a Turn-Key Project

Turn-key means you hand us the keys, the brief and your trust — and you receive finished rooms, installed and ready to enjoy. Here is exactly how that journey unfolds, from the first conversation to the final cushion, and what we need from you along the way.

In short

  • One point of contact, from the first sketch to the final installation.
  • Three phases: digital concept, handcrafting, white-glove installation.
  • A single room takes three to five months; full villas six to twelve.
  • You approve each material through samples sent to your home.
  • We handle the site, the trades and the details so you do not have to.

What "turn-key" really means

A turn-key project is one in which a single partner takes responsibility for the whole result: the design, the making, the delivery and the installation. You are not left to coordinate a carpenter, an upholsterer, a fitter and a shipper — and you are not the one chasing a missing handle three months later. You deal with one person; we make it happen.

For owners abroad, this is the difference between a project you manage and a project you simply receive.

Phase 1 — Discovery and digital concept

We begin with a private consultation. If you prefer, that first conversation is a video call on Zoom or Google Meet; otherwise we use WhatsApp or the contact form. From there you receive measured drawings and photorealistic 3D concepts, so you can walk through your interiors on screen long before anything is built. A curated box of material samples — solid woods, fabrics and finishes — is sent to your home for your approval.

Phase 2 — Handcrafting in Cascina

Once the design is approved, your pieces are made by hand on our traditional workbenches in Cascina, Pisa, using solid walnut, chestnut and fine hardwoods. Three generations of artisans have worked these benches since 1936. Throughout fabrication we send regular photographs and short written notes by WhatsApp or email. You see progress at each stage and can reply in the same thread.

Phase 3 — Delivery and white-glove installation

When everything is ready, our own Tuscan craftsmen handle packing, shipping and final installation in your villa. Furniture is positioned, fitted and finished on site, and we walk you through the completed work — remotely or in person, whichever suits you. You finish with rooms that are complete, coherent and ready to live in.

Timelines and what affects them

A bespoke kitchen or a single room usually takes three to five months from approved design to installation. Full villa restorations and complete interiors typically run from six to twelve months, depending on scope, materials and site conditions. We agree a clear timeline before work begins, and we flag anything that could move it as early as possible.

What we need from you

Very little, in practice: a clear brief, timely decisions on samples and drawings, and access to the property. Everything else — the measuring, the making, the coordination and the installation — is ours to manage. The better defined your brief at the start, the smoother and faster the rest becomes.
